Neymar says he will not play for Brazil again, indicating the World Cup last 16 defeat by Norway marked his farewell.

He said he had made history, been happy and given everything for the shirt, but no longer wished to continue with the Seleção.

If this is his goodbye, he ends on 80 goals and 58 assists in 130 caps. His only senior title with Brazil was the 2013 Confederations Cup. He also won Olympic gold in 2016.

Neymar remains under contract at Santos until the end of 2026. Whether he stays in Brazil or continues his career elsewhere is unclear.
