Neymar converted a 'pênalti presidente' for Furia in the Kings League in Guarulhos on Monday, but his side lost 7-4 to DesimpaiN. The Santos forward, and one of Furia’s owners, took the special kick during the match.

According to Diario Do Peixe, he arrived at the arena at around 17:30 Brasília time, just before Furia reduced the deficit to 4-3. He initially watched from the team's booth.

When the special card was activated, Cris Guedes went down to the pitch to take the penalty, then pointed to Neymar. The forward left the booth, pulled on his boots and scored from the spot.

It was the first time Neymar had taken the 'pênalti presidente' since joining Furia’s management. He became part of the set-up when the league launched in Brazil and had not previously taken the special kick.

Earlier on Monday, Neymar trained as normal at Santos’ training centre. The players reported at 15:00 and the No 10 completed recovery work with the other starters, leaving only after the session had finished.

Santos reconvened after a 1-1 draw with Corinthians in the sixth round of the Brasileirão. They now prepare to face Internacional at 21:30 on Wednesday 18 in the national competition.
