Neymar has been recalled to Brazil’s 26 for this summer’s World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, running from 11 June to 19 July. Carlo Ancelotti named the 34-year-old on Monday night.

L'Équipe reports that his selection ends an absence from the Seleção dating back to 18 October 2023, a 2-0 defeat to Uruguay. After injuries and knee surgery in December, he has regained rhythm at Santos, featuring in 10 of the past 13 matches.
