Nice charter 15 coaches for fans to Stade de France for Coupe de France final v Lens | OneFootball

OGC Nice and the city of Nice have chartered 15 coaches to take supporters from Nice to Saint-Denis for the Coupe de France final against Lens on 22 May, after SNCF cancelled trains for fans, angering the Populaire Sud.

According to Ici Azur, the trip will be jointly funded by the club and the municipality, setting a preferential return price of 120 euros. The Club des Supporters has separately chartered two buses for its members at roughly the same rate.

Nice have sold 13,500 of the 19,600 tickets allocated to them for the final.

Beyond the chance to lift silverware by beating Lens, Nice must first secure their Ligue 1 safety on Sunday, the final day of the season, with a decisive match against Metz at 21:00.

The Aiglons sit 16th, in the play-off place, level on points with 15th-placed Auxerre, who travel to fourth-placed Lille, and one behind 14th-placed Le Havre, who visit ninth-placed Lorient.
