Elye Wahi is back in the Nice squad for the trip to Auxerre, with the club expected to manage his minutes.

The striker missed last weekend’s meeting with Lens due to a thigh issue. He has travelled to Auxerre, though his involvement could be limited, according to L'Équipe.

Wahi is central to Nice’s run-in, yet there is no plan to take risks with his thigh at Auxerre, with two key fixtures ahead, Metz in Ligue 1, then Lens in the Coupe de France final on 22 May.

Claude Puel should stick with his five-four-one shape and the trio Bah-Mendy-Oppong, despite Dante pressing his claim.

Jonathan Clauss has trained with the group and should return to the starting XI.
