Following a superb team move, Boudaoui finished the action with a first-time strike, sealing a 3-2 victory for the Niçois.

Before his goal, Nice had trailed Lyon, but Boudaoui and his teammates managed to turn the game around. Lyon tried to respond, even earning a penalty, but Ainsley Maitland-Niles was denied by Yehvann Diouf.
