Hicham Boudaoui (23) is set to return for OGC Nice in time for Saturday night’s Ligue 1 encounter against Paris Saint-Germain.
Bouadaoui was absent from Les Aiglons’ 1-1 draw against SCO Angers on Sunday with a minor knock, however, he will be fit on Saturday. Boudaoui has featured 24 times in all competitions for Nice this season and has cemented his role as a number six in Didier Digard’s midfield, alongside Khéphren Thuram and Aaron Ramsey.
In January, Boudaoui signed a contract extension at the club, tying him to the Ligue 1 side until the summer of 2027. The Algerian international joined Nice from Paradou in 2019 for a €4m fee.
Whilst Nice are set to welcome Boudaoui back to the fold, Jordan Lotomba, Sofiane Diop and Youcef Atal remain sidelined, announced Digard, in a press conference transcribed by France Bleu Azur. The latter continues to face setbacks in his return to fitness and is currently suffering from a hamstring issue.
