Niclas Füllkrug could still be in contention for Germany’s World Cup squad despite not featuring for Julian Nagelsmann’s team since June, Bild reports.

The report says he is lined up as the third striker behind Kai Havertz and Nick Woltemade. It also states that Stuttgart’s Deniz Undav is planned as the third attacking midfielder behind Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry.

Füllkrug joined AC Milan on loan from West Ham in January in search of more playing time.

The 33-year-old centre-forward has scored once in 14 appearances for the Serie A side so far.

For Germany, he has 14 goals in 24 appearances.
