Nico Schulz isn’t expected to travel to Borussia Dortmund’s Bad Ragaz training camp on Friday with the Bundesliga side actively looking to sell the 29-year-old, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

Speaking after Monday’s public training session, BVB head coach Edin Terzić told reporters that players had been “openly and honestly talked about their situation and perspective.” This includes Schulz, who has two-years remaining on his current deal: “Nico also knows his situation.”

Borussia Dortmund would not put any obstacles in the way of Schulz leaving the club and it’s long been known that BVB have interest in Hoffenheim left-back David Raum, but they must first sell one of Raphaël Guerreiro or Schulz.

Per the report, Schulz is unlikely to have a ticket for Dortmund’s charter plane. Should he not travel, that means training individually or with the U23 squad.
