Nico Williams, Unai Simón and Laporte returned to Lezama on Monday after lifting the World Cup and a short break, rejoining Athletic’s pre-season. Their arrival gives Terzic his full squad with a fortnight remaining before La Liga begins.

On Sunday the side lost 3-1 to Marseille in their first major test of the summer. According to El Correo, the trio reported early for medical tests, mirroring the checks their team-mates completed on six July when pre-season began.
