According to Ouest France, Nicolas Pallois (36) is set to sign a new contract extension with Nantes. The French defender is set to extend his 7-year stay at the Stade de la Beaujoire by signing a new contract with Les Canaris.
With his contract set to expire in June, Pallois thought he had said goodbye to Nantes fans last Sunday with no talks opened over a contract extension. However, Antione Koumbaré expressed his desire to keep the centre-back at the club to the Nantes management, and a new contract was offered to the former Bordeaux defender.
Pallois also wants to remain at the Stade de la Beaujoire and quickly agreed to the proposed terms given to him by the Nantes board. The 36-year-old has agreed to sign a one-year extension at the club with reduced financial terms. The centre-back has proved to be reliable for Les Canaris this season making 22 appearances across the season.
