Niger National Cup: Club disqualified for using forged documents
The Central Competitions Committee of the Nigerien Football Federation (FENIFOOT) has delivered its verdict in the case involving Ourana FC and the National Gendarmerie Sports Union in the Round of 16 of the 2026 Niger National Cup. The National Gendarmerie Sports Union had filed a protest against Ourana FC from Arlit, challenging the validity of three international transfer certificates (ITC).
The final decision is unequivocal: Ourana FC, who had won 1-0, forfeits the match by administrative ruling and will not participate in the quarter-finals. The club has also been sanctioned for forgery.

Accordingly, the victory is awarded to the National Gendarmerie Sports Union (USGN), who advance to the quarter-finals of the tournament in place of their opponents.
The quarter-final matches of the 2026 Niger National Cup are scheduled to take place from February 12 to 15, 2026.
