Nike ‘cancelled’ Karim Benzema London ad shoot at the last minute | OneFootball

According to The Athletic, Nike cancelled on Wednesday night a London advertising shoot scheduled for the following day with Karim Benzema, which was linked to streetwear brand Corteiz. The company told the outlet the project did not reflect a wider relationship with the athlete and said it regretted how far discussions had progressed, having reviewed the 38-year-old's past and judged his well publicised controversies incompatible with its values.
