Nine points deducted from Vitesse in another negligence punishment

Vitesse has once again been given a points deduction by the KNVB licensing committee. This time, it concerns nine points that the club must surrender in the Eerste Divisie, where the team sit in last place.

The Arnhem club were previously punished for being late in providing the required licensing documentation. The deadline was set for April 15, 2025, but the club came up with the necessary documents sixteen hours late, resulting in a three-point penalty.

In addition, a previously imposed conditional sanction of six points from September 2024 came into effect for failure to provide information on time.

Vitesse, which have already lost 39 points due to the succession of punishments, are considering an appeal with just one game left in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie season.
