Great stories have unforgettable beginnings. On September 3, 2017, Blanca Félix began hers with Chivas Femenil, making a debut worthy of the figure she has become today within the Rebaño and in the hearts of the entire Nación Rojiblanca.

Nine years later, we look back on the day when the first page of the story of the goalkeeper from Guadalajara was written with the team she loves.

Blanca Félix’s debut with Chivas Femenil

As if it were a true sign of things to come, Blanca Félix made her professional debut in a 6-0 win over Santos, in Matchday 6 of the Apertura 2017, at Verde Valle.

It was a dream scoreline for any debut and, for Blanca, the first glimpse of what she would go on to represent between the posts. The Rojiblanca kept a clean sheet and, from her very first minutes on the pitch, displayed the composure and confidence that would become two of her defining qualities as a goalkeeper over the years.

Since then, Blanca Félix has experienced countless memorable moments as a Rojiblanca and has played a fundamental role in winning three titles. In the Apertura 2017, she lifted the first championship in Liga MX Femenil history, while in the Clausura 2022 she was crowned champion again in the women’s top flight and played a starring role by saving a decisive penalty in the Final.

Those achievements were followed by the Campeón de Campeones 2021-2022, where her saves proved decisive as Guadalajara defeated Rayadas de Monterrey in the penalty shootout.

But her legacy goes far beyond the pitch. Her personality, charisma and passion for the colors have made her one of the most beloved players among the Rojiblanca faithful and a role model for new generations of Chivahermanas.

Today, in addition to guarding the Rebaño’s goal, she wears the captain’s armband and remains one of the most iconic and accomplished players in the history of Chivas Femenil.
