Leeds United locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 24th minute when Joao Pedro got his name on the scoresheet. Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Cole Palmer doubled Chelsea’s advantage via the penalty spot in the 58th minute. However, Leeds got a goal back thanks to Lukas Nmecha’s penalty just nine minutes later. Noah Okafor scored the all-important equaliser for the Whites in the 73rd minute. The contest finished with the Yorkshire club earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Blues.
Darlow made two good saves at the back, but would not be pleased about conceding two goals tonight.
