Former Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha has revealed his reasons for departing the club.
Nmecha has secured a transfer to Wolfsburg in Germany after spending the first half of the 2019-2020 season on loan with the club.
He has now secured a permanent transfer for an initial £11 million fee, and suggests the reason for his departure is that City want to sign a top class center forward this summer.
Nmecha spoke to Kicker about his reasons for leaving, saying: "I still had one year of contract.
"They're getting another top striker, I don't think my chances would have been very good there."
