Denzel Dumfries has become one of the most-used players for Inter Milan this season.
Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, highlight how Dumfries is behind only Alessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez.
In the last few seasons, Denzel Dumfries has not always been a nailed-on starter for Inter Milan.
The Dutchman joined Inter from PSV in the summer of 2021.
And since his arrival, Dumfries has faced stern competition for a starting place from Matteo Darmian.
But this season, Denzel Dumfries has seemingly turned a corner.
The 28-year-old has been all but indispensable for the Nerazzurri.

Dumfries has been an all-action wingback. He’s found some of his best fitness levels to get up and down his flank.
The Netherlands international has been rock-solid defensively. And at the other end of the pitch, he has proven decisive time and time again with his goals and assists.
Dumfries has become so important for Inter Milan that only two outfield players have played more minutes than him this campaign.
Dumfries has played a total of 2661 minutes so far for Inter this season. That is behind just Alessandro Bastoni (with 2877 minutes) and Lautaro Martinez (with 2867).
