Spanish wonderkid Lamine Yamal, the rising star of FC Barcelona, let his frustration show on Tuesday night after being substituted in the 89th minute by his German coach Hansi Flick, during Barcelona's UEFA Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
This match, which ended in a 2-1 victory for the Catalans, also marked the grand return of Champions League football to Camp Nou, which had been closed for two years due to renovation work.
Speaking after the match, Hansi Flick was quick to play down the incident, explaining: "Lamine Yamal was a bit disappointed for the sub, but I needed fresh legs."
He went on to add: "Lamine is like that. He's young and I think his attitude is good, it's good that he reacts when he comes off. It's not a problem."
With this win, FC Barcelona move up to 10 points and climb to 14th place. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt extend their winless run in the Champions League to five matches and remain 30th with 4 points.
