Inter take on Atalanta on Thursday evening.

The Nerazzurri and La Dea meet in the semifinal of the Supercoppa Italiana. They both put the Serie A title race on pause to fight for the first piece of silverware on offer for the season.

Thursday’s match could prove to be a real bellwether as far as the title race.

But at the same time, both teams will see it as a big match in its own right.

Inter Coach Simone Inzaghi Not Planning Any Squad Rotation Vs Atalanta

Inter have an extremely busy January and February in store.

The Nerazzurri will be active on all fronts. After next week’s Supercoppa semifinal against Atalanta – and then, potentially, a final against AC Milan or Juventus – there will be matches in Serie A, the Champions League, and the Coppa Italia.

Therefore, Inter coach Inzaghi will have to think about how he’s going to manage the fitness of his squad.

But according to the Gazzetta, rotation on Thursday is not in the Nerazzurri coach’s plans.

Therefore, Inzaghi plans to go with the strongest available starting eleven against La Dea in the semifinal.
