Bologna have sent out a no-late-move signal over Everton target Jonathan Rowe, as they showed ‘no willingness to engage’ following Atalanta’s recent offer for the winger.

The former Norwich City winger has been popular in the Premier League, as Aston Villa were ‘crazy’ for him earlier in the window.

London club Chelsea also showed interest in the 23-year-old, who can play in either wide attacking area with ease.

However, the Villans and the Blues could not take their interest further, as the Serie A club made it clear that he is not for sale.

Everton, though, hold ‘concrete interest’ in the former Canaries star and they are looking to sign a quality winger before the window ends.

The arrivals of Tyrique George and Brennan Johnson have enriched their attacking options, but David Moyes looks to want more quality ahead of a long season.

However, the interested clubs continue making their moves for the 23-year-old, as Atalanta sent a bid in for him on Saturday.

According to Italian daily il Resto del Carlino, while Everton have shown recent interest, it was the Atalanta proposal which sent a signal.

The Rossoblu are not ready to play ball, as they showed ‘no willingness to engage’ in any negotiations for Rowe.

It has been suggested that La Dea offered €30m for the ex-Canaries winger, who could as well end up staying at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Even though Bologna decided that they do not want to discuss his departure after Atalanta’s first offer, further big money proposals could still be made.

Everton could decide to make a big bid over the coming days to real push Bologna’s position to its limits.
