Nobbs and Wardlaw nominated for PFA WSL2 Fans' Player of the Month award | OneFootball

Nobbs, a World Cup finalist with England in 2023, netted the winning goal in Newcastle's 1-0 victory against Southampton at the Gateshead International Stadium, with Wardlaw keeping a clean sheet.

After a 4-0 win over Liverpool Feds in the Adobe Women's FA Cup, with both players providing an assist in the third round tie, Nobbs continued her bright in front of goal after netting the opener in Newcastle's 2-1 league win at Portsmouth, leaving the Magpies three points adrift of the automatic promotion places before the Christmas break.

Nobbs and Wardlaw are both shortlisted alongside Aimee Claypole of Nottingham Forest Women, Crystal Palace Women duo Kirsty Howat and Ashleigh Weerden as well as Emily Scarr of Sunderland Women.
