Nobbs nominated for Barclays Women's Super League 2 November Player of the Month

The 32-year-old, who joined the Magpies in July, has played a starring role during an encouraging month for United, which began with a 4-1 win at Ipswich Town.

Claire Ditchburn's side then secured a 1-1 draw at local rivals Durham, before beating Sunderland 3-1 in front of a crowd of almost 19,000 in the first Tyne-Wear derby of the campaign at St. James' Park.

The influential former Arsenal midfielder has been at the heart of Newcastle's recent upturn in form and is one of four players on the shortlist, along with Maria Farrugia of Bristol City, Megan Hornby of Portsmouth and Charlotte Newsham of Charlton Athletic.
