Northern Ireland’s 2-0 win away to Malta secured them a play-off for Euro 2025 in Switzerland.
The Maltese gifted the Irish an early goal, Emma Lipman conceding an own goal, as her back pass was misdirected past goalkeeper Patricia Ebejer and into the net.
Just before the hour mark it was nearly 2-0 but Laura Rafferty headed against the cross bar from a corner.
The lead was doubled with ten minutes of the 90 left, Kerry Beattie heading home from a Rebecca McKenna cross.
Northern Ireland host Bosnia & Herzegovina at Windsor Park on Tuesday in their last group game, with the play-off draw to follow on 19 July.
