Real Madrid have more or less tied up their transfer business for the summer, with Carlo Ancelotti declaring on multiple occasions that the squad is ‘closed’. However there are one or two more exits expected.

Nico Paz’s move to Como is expected to be confirmed imminently, while Mario Martin is headed to Real Valladolid on loan. Meanwhile Brazilian outcast Reinier Jesus has yet to find a destination, and as was the case for the last two summers, it looks as if he will find another loan club late in the transfer window. According to GE Globo in Brazil, Norwich City have emerged as a surprise candidate for his signature.

The clubs are in talks over a loan deal, but have been held up over conditions and clauses. Norwich are keen to set a fixed option to buy fee that could be triggered by promotion too, as they look to replace Gabriel Sara. If Reinier cannot find a destination in Europe, then he could return to Brazil, with former club Flamengo cited as an option.

Reinier spent last season on loan at Frosinone, and began the season in the team, but as happened at Girona, fell out of selection firmly by the second half of the season. The 22-year-old still has two years left on his deal, but was not included in Real Madrid‘s preseason tour to the USA, and instead is training with their B team, Real Madrid Castilla.
