Norwich City have their eyes on a Leeds United forward with a £10 million price tag ahead of the summer transfer window...

Norwich City ended the season well in the Championship, while Leeds United survived in the Premier League. That could mean fringe players are available to clubs like Norwich in 2026/27.

Only four clubs picked up more points than Norwich City since Philippe Clement's appointment back in November, with Coventry City and Ipswich Town two of those and having gained promotion.

That means Norwich will be among the promotion favourites next term, providing they retain most of their best players and have a positive summer transfer window. Millwall and Southampton are the only other teams with more in that time and both are also likely to be strong.

West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Burnley are also in the mix, while Middlesbrough lost the play-off final and are expected to go again under Kim Hellberg. However, there are eight promotion places up for grabs next season, it must be remembered.

Leeds winger Largie Ramazani has interest emerging from Norwich City

Norwich have an attack most of the rest of the division would be jealous of, with four players having contributed to 10 or more goals and assists last term.

One was Josh Sargent before he left in January, while another was the 10 goals and three assists of Mo Toure after he arrived in January. Jovon Makama and Anis Ben Slimane were not regular players for the whole season, but also managed 13 and 11 goal involvements respectively.

Big things should still be expected of Mathias Kvistgaarden, Ali Ahmed, and Paris Maghoma as well, while Ante Crnac, Papa Diallo, Matej Jurasek, and Amankwah Forson also help to underline just how many players are capable of contributing to goals in this squad.

The vast majority of them are also under the age of 25 as well, but that also means that there will be interest in some of them. Norwich and Clement will still be eyeing attackers for next season, be that to improve upon or to supplement their current forward line.

Per Pink Un, Largie Ramazani, who spent last season on loan at Valencia from Leeds, is a player who has been considered by the Norwich hierarchy. On top of that, Kareem Tunde, who has clocked up over 1,000 minutes for La Liga side Levante over the past five months, could be filed in the ‘project’ category.

Ramazani was very much the fourth-choice of Daniel Farke's Leeds wingers in 2024/25, but he scored six and notched a further two assists in just under 800 minutes in the Championship that season. Funnily enough, one of those strikes came in a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road.

In fact, no player had better xG+xA numbers per 90 in the Championship than Ramazani that season, just ahead of Dan James and Manor Solomon. Sargent was eighth with 0.59, per FotMob.

RadioMARCA are claiming that Leeds have already set a price tag for the winger ahead of the summer, as Valencia weigh up a permanent approach. The report states that Leeds are open to selling for a fee in the region of €10 - 12 million (£8.7 - 10.4 million).

Leeds winger Largie Ramazani's profile is incredibly exciting for Norwich

With Leeds having so many wide forwards this season, and with Farke predominantly opting for two attacking midfielders either side of Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the remainder of the season from November, Ramazani's role was way down the pecking order.

He joined up with Carlos Corberan at Valencia, scoring six and assisting two in just shy of 1500 minutes. In terms of output per 90, he is an exciting player and would almost certainly be one of the Championship's best forwards.

He has electric pace and is a strong dribbler who can shoot off both feet. Ramazani is 25 and in his prime, which would make it a real coup for a team like Norwich.

The Belgian is capable of playing for any second tier side, which is why there will be competition for his signature.

Leeds might even consider bringing him back into the fold next term, such has been his season for a Valencia side that battled relegation before a strong end saw them finish ninth.
