Norwich City ran out 3-0 winners on Tuesday evening against Oxford United, and they now sit top of one particular table.

Norwich City continued their incredible run of form on Tuesday evening, as they beat Oxford United 3-0 at the Kassam Stadium. The victory has taken Philippe Clement's side up to 16th, just eight points off the play-offs.

It's been a roller coaster of a season for the Canaries, and after an incredibly difficult start that saw them fighting for their Championship survival, they are now moving in the right direction in the table, and they are still within a chance of a top six finish.

Mohamed Toure scored an incredible hat-trick against the U's, starting the scoring inside the first minute, before adding a second goal just 18 minutes later. The Australia international made it three just after the break, making his first start for the Norfolk side incredibly special.

Right now, Norwich are the side to watch in the Championship and other teams in the division will be worried about facing them in the coming weeks and months. However, for fans of the Canaries, things could not be going better.

The 10-game table was also touched on by other fans, with one poking fun at Liam Manning's exit message.

Another claimed that nature was "healing" as they sit above Ipswich Town in that period.

While their form in the last couple of months has been nothing short of sensational, there is no denying the fact that the Canaries can ill-afford to let this position slip as they did drop far too many points in the first-half of the campaign.

Therefore, the visit of Birmingham City in just over a week's time will be vital. Blues are also fighting for a top six finish, and Clement will be extremely keen to deny a potential rival the opportunity of building a gap.

Norwich then face Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester City, with it possible that the Owls will already be relegated by the time they make the trip to Carrow Road. These are two games that the Norfolk side will fancy their chances of extending their run of form in, and it is vital that they do so.

However, life does get a little tougher with Southampton and Sheffield United rounding off this block of five games for the Canaries. If Clement's side can pick up at least 10 points from this run, then they have every chance of closing the gap to the top six.
