Norwich City have dismissed manager David Wagner following their Championship play-off defeat by Leed United on Thursday.
According to BBC Sport, Arsenal coach Carlos Cuesta is a possible replacement for the German.
New sporting director Ben Knapper knows Cuesta well, with the duo having worked together at the Gunners.
Former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has also been linked, but he is reportedly not interested in the job.
Wagner arrived at Carrow Road in January 2023 and guided his side to a 13th-place finish last season.
The 52-year-old looked on the verge of getting sacked after the Canaries’ run of seven defeats in nine games in November.
However, a resurgence in form during the second half of the season saw them register eight consecutive home victories and earn a sixth-place Championship finish.
Wagner, who won promotion through the play-offs with Huddersfield in 2017, was expected to repeat the feat with Norwich.
They held Leeds United to a goalless draw in the first leg at Carrow Road but were demolished 4-0 in the reverse fixture.
