Norwich's Borja Sainz joins FC Porto

Borja Sainz has completed a move from Norwich City to Portuguese giants Porto in a deal worth £14.25 million.

The 24-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract with the 30-time Primeira Liga champions, bringing an end to his two-year spell at Carrow Road.

Sainz was in red-hot form last season, finishing as the Canaries’ top scorer with 18 goals in the Championship. He carried that momentum into the new campaign, netting 16 times in just 20 appearances across all competitions - a blistering start that inevitably attracted attention from across Europe.

Norwich had been preparing for his likely departure and moved swiftly to bolster their attacking options, bringing in Danish international Mathias Kvistgaarden.
