Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha did not choose Mohamed Salah as the best winger naming Neymar instead in quick ESPN interview.
Young Rio Ngumoha, a rising talent at Liverpool revealed his personal football picks during fast Q&A with ESPN.
When asked to name the best winger in world football, Ngumoha did not select Mohamed Salah despite Salah’s long-standing impact at Liverpool.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in summer 2017 and quickly became one of the club’s greatest players. The 33 year-old helped Liverpool win every major trophy including the Premier League twice and Champions League once.
Although his form has dipped this season under head coach Arne Slot, Salah continues to play important role and remains one of the most influential figures in Liverpool’s recent history.
During the same interview, Ngumoha also shared his choices across other positions. He named Virgil van Dijk as the best defender of all time and selected Zinedine Zidane as the greatest midfielder.
For the striker role, his pick was Ronaldo Nazario, often known as Ronaldo “The Phenomenon”.. when asked to choose the greatest footballer of all time, Ngumoha selected Lionel Messi.
