Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Vítor Pereira until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss has become the fourth permanent manager at the club this season following Nuno Espírito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, and Sean Dyche.
Pereira had previously worked with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis during a brief stint with Olympiacos in Greece as well as roles in Portugal, Saudi Arabia, German, China, and Brazil.
Most recently, Pereira was in charge of Wolves and impressed with 12 victories in 25 games at the end of the last campaign but was sacked 13 games into the current season.
The Portuguese coach will need to do a similar job for Forest as his first months with Wolves to ensure their Premier League survival this season. The Reds are just three points above the drop zone ahead of a busy schedule that sees the upcoming visit of Liverpool sandwiched in between Europa League play-offs against Fenerbahçe – a club that Pereira knows well having previously managed the, on two occasions.
