Bologna striker Santiago Castro is increasingly becoming one of the most monitored young forwards in Serie A, and his recent performances have now pushed interest well beyond Italy with Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa joining Inter in the race for the Argentine.

According to Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, both Forest and Villa have joined the chase, with the Premier League duo keeping close tabs on the Argentina international ahead of a potential summer move.

The report claims the Rossoblù would demand €40–50 million to even begin discussions, a figure that reflects their confidence in Castro’s long-term potential and rapid development since arriving in Serie A.

Inter have also followed the Argentine in recent months, viewing him as a profile with significant upside for the future.

But the Nerazzurri may find the race increasingly complicated if Premier League spending power becomes a decisive factor.

For their part, Bologna intend to take proactive steps to avoid losing control of the situation.

The club are preparing to open renewal talks with Castro in the coming weeks, aiming to present a new deal worth €1.3–1.5 million per season.

Their plan is to strengthen his position within the project, reward his impact so far, and discourage any premature approaches from abroad.
