Nottingham Forest complete signing of Man City prospect | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Manchester City academy graduate James McAtee.

The 22-year-old makes the £30m switch to the City Ground having made 34 senior appearances for Pep Guardiola's side, scoring seven times across all competitions.

McAtee has signed a five-year deal at Forest, while City have included both a buy-back and sell-on clause in the deal.

McAtee becomes Nuno Espírito Santo's seventh addition of the summer and follows attacker Omari Hutchinson through the door, who was announced earlier today.

Speaking to Forest's club's media upon his arrival, McAtee said: "I feel ready for a new challenge and the Club had a great season last year so I want to help build on that and show what I can do.

“I’m so happy to be here and really looking forward to getting started with my new teammates and I know the ambition of everyone associated with the Club which is something I want to be a part of.”
