Nottingham Forest have confirmed their Premier League squad after the summer transfer window closed, with five new signings registered and Gustavo Sa spending the season on loan.

Xaver Schlager, Ousmane Diomande, Steven Benda, Liam Delap and Daniel Munoz are all eligible for league selection at least until the winter window opens on the first of January. Sa is on loan at Olympiacos.

Head coach Oliver Glaser favours a compact group and Forest have emerged from the window with exactly that. There were numerous exits, with defenders Morato and Zach Abbott leaving on deadline day on loans to West Ham United and Southampton respectively.

Forest list 24 over-21 players, with Morato taking the final slot on the Premier League’s official list despite being out on loan, understood to keep him eligible if his move is cut short.

Players under 21, born on or after the first of January 2007, do not count towards the 25-man limit and can feature, with Jair Cunha in that bracket. Premier League squads can include no more than 17 players who are not classed as home grown.

Forest’s Premier League squad: Ola Aina, Steven Benda, Aaron Bott, Liam Delap, Ousmane Diomande, Nicolas Domínguez, Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Arnaud Kalimuendo, Igor Jesus, John Victor, James McAtee, Nikola Milenkovic, Daniel Munoz, Murillo, Dan Ndoye, Luca Netz, Ibrahim Sangare, Nicolo Savona, Xaver Schlager, Matz Sels, Neco Williams, Chris Wood, Ryan Yates.
