Nottingham Forest have named Vitor Pereira's backroom team after handing the former Wolves boss an 18-month contract as head coach.
The club said in a statement that the deal runs until the summer of 2027 and that he will be supported by assistants Filipe Jorge Monteiro Almeida and Luis Miguel Moreira Da Silva, plus Bruno Filipe Araujo De Moura as head of physical performance and opposition analysis, and Pedro Simao Capela Silva Lopes as opposition analyst.
Forest have turned to Pereira to improve a dismal league position, with the club fighting to stay out of the bottom three, after sacking Sean Dyche earlier this week.
Pereira started coaching in Portugal in 2002, then led Porto to back-to-back league titles from 2011. He later worked at Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia and won a domestic double with Olympiacos, before spells with Fenerbahçe in Türkiye and Shanghai SIPG, where he delivered a first league crown and the Chinese Super Cup. He has also coached Corinthians and Flamengo.
Most recently he was in charge at Wolves, taking over with the team in the relegation zone and overseeing a six-game winning run that helped secure safety in 2024/25. That streak was the longest in the top flight last season, in a campaign that also brought a club record Premier League goal tally.
