Nottingham Forest still want to bring in a striker before the transfer window closes tonight, according to Sky Sports News.
The Tricky Trees are in the process of doing deadline day deals for Benfica defender Morato and West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse.
Landing a striker has though been their recent focus and they have failed with efforts to sign Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord and Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush has been priced beyond what Nottingham Forest are prepared to pay.
Despite disappointment on multiple fronts, Nottingham Forest remain committed to signing a striker.
They are still hoping to be able to get a striker into the City Ground before the window slams shut.
It is unclear where Forest are looking for another striker.
The clock though is ticking down on the window and the Tricky Trees will need to move quickly.
