Nottingham Forest defender Chloe Mustaki has signed a new two-year deal with the club which will run until summer 2028.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees earlier today.

The 30-year-old Republic of Ireland international defender joined Nottingham Forest last summer after leaving former club Bristol City. Mustaki made 20 appearances for The Reds in Barclays WSL2, helping the club to record a solid mid-table finish.

Mustaki’s experience will be hugely important for Nottingham Forest going forward and the club have therefore moved to retain the player’s services for another two years.

After signing on again Trentside, Mustaki said “I am delighted to sign a new deal. It’s such an amazing Club and I had a great first season laying the foundations, so I’m extremely excited to get going again and build on that.

“We have a core group of players and staff that are staying on this year and that will help propel us into better performances, better environment, build on everything we started to do last season, and I think it is going to be a really good year.”

Further Nottingham Forest squad news will be announced by the club in due course.
