Nottingham Forest face transfer fight over Elliot Anderson replacement

Nottingham Forest are searching for a successor to Manchester City-bound Elliot Anderson, with Celtic midfielder Arne Engels on their wish-list.
Senior figures at the City Ground rate the 22-year-old, who could yet end up in the Premier League. According to Nottingham Post, Roma have entered the race for his signature, with other continental clubs also keen on the Belgian.
Anderson, an England international, is due to complete a £116 million move to Manchester City in the coming days.
Engels has stood out in Scotland since joining Celtic from Augsburg two years ago, impressing in European competition.
He scored one goal and provided three assists in last season’s Europa League, and matched those numbers across 10 Champions League outings the previous campaign.
Engels has two years left on his contract and Celtic paid £11m to sign him.
