Nottingham Forest in advanced Deadline Day talks with Strasbourg over Dilane Bakwa

Nottingham Forest are in talks with RC Strasbourg over a Deadline Day move for Dilane Bakwa (23), according to The Telegraph. The outlet reports that the former France youth international is a long-term target for the Tricky Trees. The BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side would command a £35m fixed transfer fee with further add-ons to part ways with Bakwa.

Bakwa is expected to leave Strasbourg as Rosenior seems to be already planning for a future without him. The France youth international winger is yet to start a competitive game, although he came off the bench for Strasbourg’s first three Ligue 1 games. Despite their BlueCo-powered financial might, with more than €100m spent in signings this summer, Strasbourg need to sell players to comply with Ligue 1 and UEFA’s financial fair-play.
