Nicolo Savona missed Nottingham Forest training on Wednesday as Sean Dyche prepared for Thursday's Europa League meeting with Ferencvaros, 8pm kick-off, the final fixture of the league phase.
According to Nottingham Post, Douglas Luiz and Oleksandr Zinchenko were also absent at the Nigel Doughty Academy. Both loans are expected to be cut short, with Luiz in line for Aston Villa and Zinchenko linked with Ajax.
New signing Lorenzo Lucca trained but is ineligible this week as he is not in the Europa League squad. He could debut when Crystal Palace visit on Sunday.
Willy Boly did not take part. With his deal up in the summer, there is a chance he could leave before then. Chris Wood is still out after knee surgery, while goalkeeper John Victor is understood to miss the rest of the season following a knee operation.
Forest are 16th on 11 points and are guaranteed to progress from the league phase. After last week's 1-0 defeat at Braga, a top-eight finish looks unlikely. They must beat Ferencvaros and rely on other results. Anything less risks a finish as low as 24th.
A win would ensure a top-16 finish, reaching 14 points, yet top eight would still need favours elsewhere. The likelier outcome is a two-legged play-off to reach the last 16, with seeding set by a ninth to 16th or 17th to 24th finish. Ferencvaros are seventh and unbeaten.
