Nottingham Forest officially announce Arnaud Kalimuendo
Franco-Congolese striker Arnaud Kalimuendo has officially left Rennes for the Premier League, signing with Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old forward joins the Premier League side on a deal running until the summer of 2030. The transfer fee is reported to be €31.5 million.
Kalimuendo, who scored 17 goals and provided 3 assists in 33 Ligue 1 appearances last season, says he’s ready for the challenge:
I want to go further and reach a new level here. I can’t wait to play in the Premier League and at the City Ground.
Sporting director Ross Wilson is also eager to see him in action:
We’ve been following Arnaud since his time at PSG, Lens, and Rennes. He arrives with great enthusiasm and energy, and we’re looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.
This signing follows the recent arrivals of James McAtee and Omari Hutchinson, as the English club bolsters its attack ahead of their Europa League campaign this season.
