Nottingham Forest have sacked Sean Dyche 114 days after appointing him. He was the club’s third head coach of the season. He followed Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou.

The decision came hours after a 0-0 draw with Wolverhampton in which Forest registered 35 attempts without scoring. According to The Guardian, there is a preference for Vítor Pereira as the next appointment.

Forest sit 17th in the Premier League, three points above West Ham, the highest-placed side in the relegation zone.

The club are now seeking a fourth coach of the campaign and play a Europa League play-off first leg at Fernebahçe in Türkiye on 19 February.

Pereira, 57, has prior Premier League experience, having managed Wolverhampton from December 2024 to November 2025.
