On the international stage, Omewa recently made the step up from Nigerian youth level to the senior national team. She was awarded her first senior international cap in 2025 and is pushing her claims for greater involvement in the team.

After joining Nottingham Forest on a short-term basis, Omewa said “I am delighted to sign for Nottingham Forest. It’s an ambitious club and I’m excited to be a part of this team.

“I can’t wait to get started for this club and I think I can add a lot to an already talented group at Forest.”

Omewa will be available for selection for Nottingham Forest once the club receive the necessary international clearance.
