The 28-year-old Spanish international joins Nottingham Forest from American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) expansion team Denver Summit. She will play her football in the East Midlands until the end of the calendar year.

After bringing Garcia to Nottingham Forest, head coach Carly Davies said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Nahikari to Nottingham Forest.
“She arrives with fantastic pedigree, having represented Spain at international level and developed her game at Spanish giants Real Madrid, which speaks volumes about her quality and ambition.
“Nahikari brings a unique range of skills and a strong mentality that align perfectly with the progressive, ambitious culture we’re building here. Her experience competing at the highest levels, both internationally and in Spain, will be a huge asset to the squad. Her adaptability, work ethic, and flair will undoubtedly add real quality and depth to our team as we continue pushing forward in our campaign.
“We can’t wait to see her wear the Garibaldi and to support her as she integrates into the squad.”
Nottingham Forest kick-off the new Barclays WSL2 season with a home fixture against Newcastle United on Sunday.
