Chelsea face Nottingham Forest at The City Ground in just over an hour, and the teams are in!

There were a lot of question marks about players’ fitness for this one, so we were curious to see what Enzo Maresca would go with.

Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto were all given a late fitness test yesterday, and it’s pretty clear how they handled it from Maresca’s decisions here. Pedro Neto starts, Moises Caicedo is on the bench, and Enzo isn’t in the squad at all.

Also absent from the group entirely is Wesley Fofana. He was supposed to have a nice long period to recover after picking up a concussion – we’re not sure what would be more worrying – him missing out today because his concussion is so severe that he’s still got symptoms weeks later, or him having picked up yet another mystery injury in training.

It means a chance to start for academy youngster Josh Acheampong. Tosin Adarabioyo is at least fit to return to the bench after his calf problem. Attacking options back there include Tyrique George, Jamie Gittens, Marc Guiu and most notably Estevao. We suspected Maresca would keep him on the bench here and he’s just done that.

Here are the full team line-ups for Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea (kick off at 12:30 GMT)

Chelsea’s team news to face Nottingham Forest.

In other news…

Chelsea will be hoping that Joao Pedro looks a lot better leading the line today than he has done in recent weeks – Matt Law thinks that the rest he’s had in the last couple of weeks could help him big time.

In the long run Chelsea will have Emanuel Emegha coming in from Strasbourg to lighten the load on JP – and the French side already have a player lined up to replace the Dutch international according to rumours swirling last night.
