Nottingham Forest will aim to get their Champions League bid back on track at Crystal Palace this evening.
Forest are sixth in the table but can move level on points with Newcastle and Chelsea in the Champions League places with a win. However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have lost three of their last four league games, including a 2-0 setback at home to Brentford last time out. Forest were also beaten by Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals last weekend.
Palace will face Manchester City in that FA Cup final after a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in their semi-final. The Eagles are hoping to end the campaign with a maiden major trophy and place in Europe.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to sit out the trip to Selhurst Park with a hamstring injury. The winger sustained the issue against Brentford on Thursday and is unlikely to recover in time.
Eric da Silva Moreira is the only other confirmed absentee for Forest, due to an ankle issue. Forest head into the clash with a good recent record against Palace. The Tricky Trees have not lost to Palace in eight meetings, with their last reverse coming in the second tier in 2011. However, five of the last seven games have ended in draws.
Nottingham Forest predicted XI: Sels; Williams, Milenkovic, Murillo, Toffolo; Anderson, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Jota Silva; Wood.
Crystal Palace host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Monday 5th May 2025. Kick-off at Selhurst Park is 20:00 BST.
UK viewers can watch the game live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event.
