Nottingham Forest announced that Elliot Anderson is in mourning following the death of his mother.

The England international missed training yesterday for personal reasons and had been a doubt for today’s game against Porto.

A message of condolence to Anderson and his family appeared on Porto’s official social channels on 16 April 2026.

Anderson, 23, is among Vítor Pereira’s most influential midfielders.

He has made 42 appearances this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
