Nou Mestalla passed a routine inspection on Tuesday by Valencia City Council’s urban planning staff, who are tracking build deadlines. According to AS, municipal sources said the check on milestones set for 10 February returned a positive report.

The review covered the start of concrete works and the installation of external staircases shaping the venue, both of which are now under way. Work resumed in January 2025 and is progressing to the timetable Valencia and contractor FCC presented to the council.

With the first three milestones now met, the execution calendar sets the next technical visit for 29 December 2026 at the Avenida de las Cortés plot, when installation of the 50 pillars will be reviewed.

The outer roof is scheduled to be completed on 23 April 2027, with full completion targeted for 11 July 2027 alongside the issuance of the Certificado Final de Obra (CFO).

From outside the stadium, progress is visible in the placement of 10 of the 50 roof-supporting pillars, the fitting of one external staircase, and partition walls defining interior areas beneath the stands.
