According to AS, Nou Mestalla has completed installation of the compression ring and 50 steel pillars that will support the stadium’s large roof, marking a significant milestone.

The structure has been crowned with the club flag and that of the Comunitat Valenciana. The new ground is scheduled to open in summer 2027 with 70,044 seats.

This progress allows the club to proceed with other phases before the roof is lifted, finalising a key structural stage. The intention is to start the 2027-28 season there.

With the aim of meeting deadlines to be one of the 2030 World Cup venues, Nou Mestalla is steadily taking shape.

In parallel, the Ayuntamiento de Valencia approved the segregation of the Nou Mestalla site where the Atitlan group, linked to Roberto Centeno, son-in-law of Juan Roig, will build two towers of 16 and 20 storeys. They will house a hotel, offices and retail units.
