Summer football is over for Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Junior and Endrick Felipe, as Brazil were knocked out of the 2024 Copa America on Sunday morning, losing 4-2 on penalties to Real Madrid teammate Federico Valverde’s Uruguay side in their quarter-final tie in Las Vegas.

It was a tough tournament for the Selecao, who only won one of their four matches in the United States (4-1 vs Paraguay). Real Madrid’s Brazilian quartet will now rest for a bit, before returning to the club for pre-season training.

In Endrick’s case, he cannot officially join his new Real Madrid teammates until the 21st of July, when he turns 18. Nevertheless, he is already looking forward to the latest chapter in his blossoming career, as per MD.

“Now I think about Real Madrid. It’s very difficult to talk about the match because unfortunately we were eliminated. But now, my head is in Madrid.”

There is much excitement at Real Madrid for Endrick’s impending arrival. A deal was agreed with Palmeiras in December 2022, and over 18 months later, he’s now set to embark on a permanent trip to the Santiago Bernabeu.
